Major League All-Star Joe Nathan to Headline Baseball Clinics at The Sports Barn December 29
Joe Nathan, a three-time American League All Star pitcher for the Minnesota Twins, will be conducting two pitching clinics on Dec. 29 at The Sports Barn/Hayner Brothers Baseball and Softball Academy in Halfmoon.
Nathan, whose is tied with New York Yankees’ ace closer Mariano Rivera for most saves in the American League in the past five seasons (179), will be discussing a variety of topics from specifics of pitching development to life as a major league player. Attendees can choose to attend either the 9:30am – Noon session or 3:30pm – 6:00pm program and will receive Joe’s autograph with their paid admission. In addition, Hayner Academy instructors will be conducting clinics on hitting, fielding and catching during the autograph session while attendees are waiting to meet Joe. Tickets for either of the clinics are $40 for 1 ticket, $70 for 2 tickets, $95 for 3 tickets and $120 for 4 tickets.
Between clinics there will be a separate luncheon with Joe Nathan at The Fairways of Halfmoon from 12:30-2:30pm. The intimate event will enable all who attend to meet and interact with Joe. Tickets for this event are $50 each. Tables of 8 are available for $360. The luncheon will feature the chef’s grand buffet. For both the clinics and the luncheon, seats are limited.
