2007 Season in Review:
The CPYBC program completed it`s 7th season with the most success to date. The A team won the league in stunning fashion with a undefeated campaign. More impressive was the "undefeated status" vs the prestigious All-Star team the South Troy Dodgers Baseball Club.
The fall 2007 season was our first entry into the newly form capital District Connie Mack Fall League . League Administrator www.Ingoodstandings.com hosts all the records and games scores.
Our B team finished in the middle of a 12 team league as primarily a JV team.

2007 Fall Baseball

Our 2007 Fall Club Baseball program will feature two 18 and under teams and a new addition to the Club Program will be our 15U team .
We will conduct a 15 game game schedule. Our Annual Polar Bear Tournament on Columbus Day Weekend, will now serve as the Championship Trophy for the Fall Connie Mack League and the tournament will be moved to the end of the season!! We will also insert into the Club schedule two teaching clinics that will feature all three coaches and guest clinicians.
Coach Jeff Keith is taking a one season hiatus due to the multiple seasons in a row and the birth of his second child. Coach Keith has been the backbone of this Club program since it`s inception in 2001. We look foward to his return to the Diamond in the Fall of 2008.
Our 18 U teams will be coached by Keith Lansley{St. Rose/Shen `95} and Jeff Klahr {Brockport State/Shen `97}
We are currently interviewing coaching candidates for the 15U team.
We are very excited about the professional background and expertise these three men bring to the field. Their collective abilities will in some way offset the temporary loss of Coach Keith.
We will conduct our first practice/open tryout on the first Thursday September 6th after school begins.{See "Recent News" section on Home page for tryout information. To be eligible you can not play Club Baseball and be on a school sport team. We encourage multiple sport participation. However, if you are not a Fall Sport athlete and you play Baseball, we offer the Club program for our elite players.

WELCOME TO ANOTHER CLUB BASEBALL SEASON WITH THE CLIFTON PARK YANKEES BASEBALL CLUB. THE CLUB FORMED IN 2001 WITH THE SOLE PURPOSE OF EXPANDING EXISTING BASEBALL OPPORTUNITIES FOR COMMITTED HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL PLAYERS IN CLIFTON PARK.
THE CLUB IS OWNED BY JAMES E. CARRESE AND IS A PRIVATELY HELD CLUB, NON PROFIT WITH THE MAIN SPONSORS BEING COACH CARRESE, GIFFY`S BARBEQUE{GIFFY`S DONATED THE ORIGINAL UNIFORM SHIRTS} AND JACK BYRNE{DONATED THE "MOCKS"}. A COOPERATIVE EFFORT WITH THE CPBL HAS PRODUCED A BASEBALL CLUB WHICH PROVIDES ELITE INSTRUCTION, 15 GAMES ANNUALLY AND A "DEVELOPMENT CONCEPT" FOR THE PLAYERS IN THE SHENENDEHOWA PROGRAM AND OTHER AREA PRIVATE SCHOOL{PLAYERS RESIDE IN CP}.
ADDITIONALLY IT SERVES AS A EXCELLENT RESOURCE FOR OUR COLLEGE BASEBALL RECRUITMENT PROGRAM THAT HAS PRODUCED 65 COLLEGE BASEBALL PLAYERS AND 9 PROFESSIONAL CONTRACTS SINCE 1991.
{NOTE: All Club Activities comply with "Suburban Council Coaching" Guidelines established by the AD Council.
Coach James E. Carrese "administrates" the program and has no "on the field" coaching responsibilities. We adhere to the letter and the "spirit" of the guidelines.

Pre-Game Policy: Note: All players must report ONE HOUR before game time for Pre-Game.
If there is to be a exception to that or a absence from the game the player is responsible to "personally" call Coach Lansley, or Coach Klahr to communicate with them regarding their specific situation. Team members need to understand with a small roster{designed to maximize playing opportunities} it is critical to communicate with the coaching staff.
RAINOUT/CANCELLATION: If the weather is in "question" the first option is to check the website upto two {2} hours before game time to see if there is a cancellation."Check the website" before you leave for pregame!!!!!
The second option is a Phone Chain which will be posted on the CPYBC "PAGE" below the rosters for each team.
The third option is to call your coach or Coach Carrese@ 331-9490.
