2010 Club Baseball Season :
Recent Information:
August 26th, 2010
The CPYBC page will be updated by September 1st for the Fall Club season. Both teams have been selected and 21 players are committed for the two teams . The CP Yankees {A} will be our 18U team coached by Jeff Keith.The CP Thunder {B} team will be coached by Keith Lansley.
We expect schedules by Monday August 30th and we will post them as soon as they are ready.
The fee of $ 310.00 is a $30.00 raise in fees from 2009.The fee will be due by September 15th and can be made out to CPYBC and should be mailed to our PO Box 209 CP, NY 12065. Do not give your check to one of our coaches. You may give the fee check {only} to Coach Carrese at the 9-9-10 meeting/practice at The Common at 6pm or mail it to the PO Box given.
The umpires have a new contract and the club has purchased new uniforms for the Thunder and new composite bats to back up the personal wood bat inventories of our players.The $ 630 gross increase in fees will cover those additional expenses along with a rise in the cost of our secondary insurance coverage for all 21 players and three coaches.
The Club sponsors and pays for the baseballs as part of reducing costs to our families.

2009 Season
Our End of the Season Get Together was Wednesday November 4th, 2009
in the West Cafeteria from 6:30-7:15 pm.
Legacy Gifts were given to the following seniors for their dedication and participation in the Club program these past three seasons:

Our Fall Club program will begin it`s 9th season this Fall. The Clifton Park Yankees Baseball Club features two 18U teams. The CP Yankees A & B Teams. This year the Yankees will be coached by Shenendehowa Plainsmen Pitching Coach and Head JV Coach Keith Lansley {`95} and our younger team will be coached by veteran coach and professional instructor Jeff Keith {SF Giants}. The Club fee, team insurance {included in fee}, coaching staff information, and a updated Club History and Policies are below.

Welcome to the Clifton Park Yankees Baseball Club. The club was formed in 2001 with the sole purpose of expanding playing opportunities for committed, team oriented High School players in Clifton Park. The club was founded by James E. Carrese and is privately held. The club is a non-profit DBA who main sponsors is CPYBC/CPBC {James E. Carrese]. Major contributiors to the club`s equiptment and uniform inventory are the following business`s:
+ Giffy`s Barbeque +Jack Byrne Ford +Cardona Construction A cooperative effort with the help of the CPBL has allowed the club to provide elite competition in the fall, a high level of expectation. a high level of instruction and a opportunity to develop individually. THE CLUB WHICH PROVIDES ELITE INSTRUCTION,16 GAMES ANNUALLY AND A "DEVELOPMENT CONCEPT" FOR THE PLAYERS IN THE SHENENDEHOWA PROGRAM. ADDITIONALLY IT SERVES AS A EXCELLENT RESOURCE FOR OUR COLLEGE BASEBALL RECRUITMENT PROGRAM THAT HAS PRODUCED 72 COLLEGE BASEBALL PLAYERS AND 10 {TEN} PROFESSIONAL CONTRACTS SINCE 1991. {NOTE: All Club Activities comply with "Suburban Council Coaching" Guidelines established by the AD Council. Coach James E. Carrese "administrates" the program and has no "on the field" coaching responsibilities. If there is to be a exception to that or a absence from the game the player is responsible to "personally" call Coach Lansley, or Coach Keith to communicate with them regarding their specific situation. Team members need to understand with a small roster{designed to maximize playing opportunities} it is critical to communicate with the coaching staff. RAINOUT/CANCELLATION: If the weather is in "question" the first option is to check the website upto two {2} hours before game time to see if there is a cancellation."Check the website" before you leave for pregame!!!!! The second option is a Phone Chain which will be posted on the CPYBC "PAGE" below the rosters for each team.
The third option is to call your coach or Coach Carrese@ 331-9490.
